O videoclipe de “A Beautiful Lie”, da banda 30 Seconds to Mars, é um retrato de como as geleiras no Ártico estão sendo destruídas pelo aquecimento global. O clipe demorou seis meses para ser gravado no local e, quando foi lançado, o vocalista da banda Jared Leto iniciou uma campanha homônima para para chamar atenção do mundo para o superaquecimento do planeta e de como essas mudanças climáticas estão influenciando a vida das pessoas que moram no continente gelado. No começo do clipe há um depoimento de um esquimó dizendo como o derretimento das geleiras compromente a sobrevivência de seu povo.
